Bhimdutta panta
Bhimdutta panta was a commander of liberation army who was murdered while revolting for the welfare of poor peasants.
Reasons of his rebellion
Though democracy was introduced in 2007, it could not have any effects in the rural areas. There was unlimited exploitation and torture of land lords on the poor peasants. Though they worked for the land lords for day and nights they would die from starvation. The rich class always showed their inhumane behavior upon the poor. Bhimdutta panta had rebelled against the trend. He demanded for scientific land reform.
Contribution of Bhimdutta panta
Thousands of poor youths had their support to his revolution that began from the far west when the land lords saw the youths with guns and domestic weapons in their hands they shivered with fear. The government murdered him in the jungle of Dadeldhura on 7th Bhadra, 2010 BS in the support of Indian army.
