Peripheral Nervous system (PNS) is made up of nerve fibers.
The peripheral nervous system is made up of nerves that branch off from the spinal cord and extend to all parts of the body.It includes parts of the nervous system outside the brain and spinal cord. It includes the cranial nerves, spinal nerves and their roots and branches, peripheral nerves, and neuromuscular junctions.
The peripheral nervous system is divided into the somatic nervous system, and the autonomic nervous system. The somatic nervous system is under voluntary control, and transmits signals from the brain to end organs such as muscles.
