A module is a separate independent unit of a program or group of codes in a program that allows them to use with other components in a program. Modular Programming allows development to be divided by splitting down a program into smaller programs in order to execute a variety of tasks. This enables developers to work simultaneously and minimizes the time taken for development.
There are two types of modules in modular programming.
- Main module
- Submodule
