Distance traveled by (A) , S_{A} = ?

Distance traveled by (B), S_{B} = ?

Time take (t) = 2 minutes = 120 s

**Now, for vehicle 'A', we have**

V_{A} = 40 m/s

Or, S_{A} = V_{A} × t = 40 × 120 = 4800 m

∴ the distance traveled by car 'A' is 4800 m due east.

**Now, for vehicle 'B', we have**

V_{B} = 30 m/s
