Coherent sources of light are the sources of light waves which produce the light waves having the same frequency, wavelength and have the same phase or a constant phase difference.
Characteristics:
- The coherent sources are monochromatic.
- They have the same frequency and wavelength.
- They have the constant phase difference of the same phase.
- They are close to each other.
