Newton's universal law of gravitation states that "Everybody in this universe attracts every another body with a force which is directly proportional to product of their masses and inversely proportional to square of the distance between their centers"
if,
gravitational force = G
mass of an object = m1
mass of another object = m2
distance between center of planets = d
According to Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation,
\(G\propto m_1\times m_2\)
\(G\propto\frac1{d^2}\)
Newton's law states that this force, the gravitational law between objects are always attractive , hence pull two objects closer. Isaac Newton gave this theory. He has given three theories of gravitation.
