Marketing is structured planning, execution, and a mix of different activities intended to bring buyers and sellers together for a mutually beneficial exchange of products or services. It is a process that promotes and sells products or services with the help of various tools and activities including research and advertising. In a nutshell, marketing is a procedure of bringing the right product to the right marketplace for the right people at the right price. Marketing is nothing but how efficiently you explain the value of your product or services to the customer, influence their mind in such a way that they will ultimately buy your product.

Advertising is a paid element of marketing that only aims in imparting information about a product or services to the audience and instigate their desire to buy them. Advertising is done on different channels such as newspaper, TV, radio, Digital platform, website, magazines, outdoor, banners, poster, etc., Advertising is one of the expensive marketing processes. It is a technique through which a single message can be reached to hundreds of people within a second. With advertisements, people can easily identify a product or services and decide on which is most suitable for them.

1. Marketing is to understand the market condition, identify customer's needs, and create a product. Advertising is a part of the marketing process done to influence the customer's behaviour.
2. Features of marketing are the product, price, place, promotion, people and process. Feature of advertising is promotion.
3. It is a long term process. It is a short term process.
4. Marketing is done for Market research, promotion, advertisement, distribution, sales, and customer satisfaction, Advertising is done in a newspaper, TV, radio, magazine, digital platform, hoardings, etc.
5. It creates a market for existing and new product and services. It grabs customers attention.
6. It is for selling the product. It is for creating awareness.
