Political party is an organization formed by the group of people who have the same ideology,same objectives and same programs of actions or who otherwise have the same political positions, and who field candidates for elections, in an attempt to get them elected and thereby implement their agenda.
Criteria required to get national recognition for political party
- The party should be win at least one seat in the direct FPTP) election.
- The party should get at least 3 % of the total valid votes casted in the proportionate election.
