'Multi' means many and 'Party' means political party. The meaning of multiparty system is the system in which two or more than two political parties can take part in political activities. The next terms of multiparty democratic system is Democratic system or Parliamentary Ruling System.
Multiparty system is such system in which people's elected representatives rules the nation and formulates laws.There is political freedom in a country with multiparty system. there is freedom to form political parties or organizations, freedom to cast vote taking part in free and fair election, utilize the fundamental rights and freedom guaranteed by the constitution, express one's own feeling and opinion, etc in this system. This system is in practice in majority of the countries in the world like, USA, UK,India, Nepal, etc.
