What are the importance of Skilled Manpower?

Educated, trained or skilled people who can perform certain works effectively are called skilled manpower. The importance of skilled manpower are mentioned below:

1. To utilize natural resources
   Only  natural resources are not enough. Skilled manpower is required to utilize them. Skilled human resources are important to distribute drinking water, to extend irrigation system or to generate electricity utilizing water resources in the country.
2. To make various goods
   All the goods needed for human beings like transportation, communication, machines operated by electricity like vehicles and airplanes, telephone or television, heater or refrigerator, etc are prepared by skilled manpower.
3. To extend infrastructures of development
   Skilled manpower at different levels play important role in the development of infrastructures transportation, communication, electricity, drinking water, education, health, etc.
4. To lead the development of a country in right path
   There is a great role of skilled manpower in the overall development of agriculture, tourism, industry, trade, etc. The development of the country can move on the right path if skilled manpower who can contribute in different sectors of development are generated and mobilized in the country.
