Countries in cool and temperate climate are advanced from development point of view:

Britain, Western Europe, North America, Southern part of South America, Australia and Eastern region of China are in cool temperate climate. These countries are far advanced from development perspective.

The reason of it are mentioned in the points below:

1. Due to the cold and freezing climate almost throughout the year the people are active and intelligent. 
2. Most of the region of this climate lies near by the sea. So these countries have high income due to the trade done by ship across the sea.
3.  They have been able to establish their market in almost all parts of the world by utilizing the minerals like coal, petroleum, gas, gold, silver, iron ore, aluminium, etc. 
4. They are advanced in modern agriculture, cattle rearing and tourism development.
