A model of speech :
Citizenship is a base of identity of a citizen.
Honorable Chairperson,
Panel of jury,
Respected teachers and my dear friends.
I would like to thank the host of this competition for providing me a chance to express some of my views.
Citizenship is the national identity card. It gives a identity of a citizen of a country. The citizenship reflects our nationality wherever we go or live. Since we get a citizenship very easily, one might take the subject matter very lightly. But when the person is deprived of citizenship , he/ she has a feeling of great pain. That time he/she feels as if he/she does not have an identity. Such person is even deprived of all rights and facilities that a state grants it's citizen. Therefore, citizenship is our important identity. Citizenship is the identity card of a citizen that shows she/he legally belongs to a particular country.
Before leaving I would like to give emphasis that the main base of identity of the citizen is his/her citizenship. That is the reason, we take it as an identity card of the nation.
With these views, I would like to depart from this stage.Thank you.
