Temperate monsoon climate is suitable for silk worm rearing: 

  • Silk worm is a type of insect. A type of thread is produced from its body similar to that of spider which is very strong and bright.It is used to weave clothes. Such clothes are expensive and standard as well. 
  • A type of plant called mulberry, is the diet of silk worm. The more it eats mulberry leaves, the more it produces the thread. 
  • Now regarding temperate monsoon, it is very suitable climate for mulberry trees. It is suitable for silk worm as well. To rear silk worm by producing more mulberry leaves, this climate is very supportive. 
  • South Korea, Japan and Eastern China are the regions suitable for silk worm rearing. The eastern part of the USA and Australia is also suitable for it.
