Small and cottage industries can be established bu taking loan from cooperative. For e.g. preparing thread from a wild plant called "allo", making juice, jam from fruits. Similarly, vegetables, fruits and medicinal herbs cultivation can be done by utilizing the unused land. Such activities help in utilizing local means and resources. Mobilization of capital, creation of employment opportunities and improvement in the lifestyle of people as well as development of different infrastructure can be some other advantages of cooperatives.
Similarly goats, pigs, sheep and cattle rearing can be done as well as poultry farming can also be done. Moreover cooperative plays important role in the development of tourism industry utilizing local natural and cultural heritage.
