The Mountain region has a higher altitude (4,877-8848 meters) from sea level. It has many mountains covered with snow in the northern part. The snow line is at an altitude of 4,000 meters in the west and 5,000 meters in the east. It has a very steep and rocky land structure that causes problems in transportation, There is very cold temperature. There are 16 districts altogether.
