Why is the voice of women more sharp or intelligible than that of a man?

The pitch of a sound depends upon the frequency. The sound with low frequency is identified as low pitch and sound with high frequency is identified as high pitch sound. The tone of high frequency is interpreted as shrill or intelligent sound. The sound produced by women has a higher frequency than the sound produced by men. So, the sound produced by women is more intelligent compared to men.
