We can't hear echoes in a small room. Why?
1 Answer
The minimum distance between the listener and the wall (reflecting surface) must be 17m to hear an echo. If a room is small, this requirement is not fulfilled. Due to the persistence of hearing (0.15 Sec), our ears cannot detect the repeated sounds i.e. we cannot hear the echo.
