What type of forces act on the planets while revolving around the sun?
1 Answer
As we know that, planets revolve around the sun in their own orbit. During the revolution necessary centripetal force is provided by the gravitational force which helps to move around the sun.
Though the necessary force required by planets is the gravitational force some other forces also act on the planet which are :
- gravity
- inertia
- gravity working with inertia
- velocity and gravity
