What do you understand by the interference of light? Derive and expression for the fringe width of bright and dark fringes are the same.
1 Answer
Interference of light: When the two waves coming from two coherent sources of light overlap with each other, then the amplitude of a resultant wave is different from the amplitude of individual waves. The resultant amplitude is either more or less than individual waves. this phenomenon of a light wave is called interference of light.
