How does the biological aspect of the mountain region depend on its physical aspect?
1 Answer
The biological aspect of the mountain depends upon its physical aspect. The Mountain region has a cold climate. The plants and animals that can survive in cold climates are found here. Alpine species of plants are found in the mountain regions. Gurans, Dhupi, Bhojpatra, Devdar, etc are the plants found in this region. Leopard, Ghoral, Jharal, Himalayan bear, wild bear, red pandas are the animals found in the mountain region. The plants or vegetation have pointed leaves. Similarly, animals found in this region have thick fur. The fur protects animals from extreme coldness and less oxygen. Therefore, the growth of plants and animals in the mountain regions is relatively slower compared to other regions. Bushes of plants are found in the upper part of the mountain region. The genetic capacity of plants and animals found in this region is adaptable to the physical aspects of this region.
