Difination of Magnetic Induction

If a small piece of iron is brought near a magnet, it will be attracted. Iron piece will be attached with magnet. The iron pieces act like a magnet when near or in contract with a magnet. This process is called magnetic induction. Magnetic induction is a process by which a piece of magnetic material becomes a magnet, when it is placed near, or in contract with a permanent magnet.
