cells are connected in parallel combination
Net potential (V) = V1= V2=V3=V4= 1.5 V
Resistance (R) = 3 Ω
Current (I) = \( \frac VR\)
= \(\frac{1.5}3\)
= 0.5 A
In circuit (ii) , cells are connected in series combination.
Net potential (V) = V1= V2=V3=V4
= 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5
= 6 V
Resistance (R) = 6 Ω
Current (I) = \( \frac VR\)
I =\( \frac66\)
I = 1 A
