An instrument is marked 3 A and 210 A. Find out the power of that instrument in horse power.
1 Answer
Given current ( I) = 3A
potential (V) = 210 V
power ( P) = ?
Using formula ,
P = IV
or, P = 3 *210
or, P = 630 W
therefore, 746 W = 1 hp
630 W = \(\frac{630}{746}\)
= 0.84 hp
The power of that instrument in horsepower is 0.84 hp.
