A body with volume of 3000mcube floats on water. What will be volume of body above water ?

According to flotation condition
vo do g = vl dl g
dl = 1000 as we know the density of water,
3000 * 800 * 10 = vl * 1000 * 10
vl = 2400 m3
This volume of water displaced = volume of body inside water
that is volume of body inside water = 2400 m3
Now, volume of body outside water = total volume of body - volume of body inside water.
= 3000 - 2400
= 600 m3
Hence volume of body above water is 600 m3
