Microwave communication is line of sight (LOS) radio communication. It provides high quality of communication. These systems are quite similar to radio and television signals and are mainly used to transmit data through space technology without the physical connection of wire.

Microwaves are of two types

Terrestrial microwave
Satellite microwave communication
