Home is the first school of discipline. At home, parents teach us what to do and what not to do. Strength is not enough to control a mass of people. It is the discipline that makes people follow the rules and regulations. In play ground and the army barracks the order of the head must be obeyed without questioning.

Discipline is the training of the mind and character to produce self control, habit of obedience. Discipline is the result of action cultivated every day. Hence, it has great value in a student's life. A student cannot get success in academic life without discipline.

If the officer asks his assistant to come to office on time, it is the duty of the assistant to come on time. If people go about according to their wishes even professionally and in important tasks there will be no order. Without order in life and work efficient and worthwhile work cannot be done. An organization cannot be successful if the members do not obey its laws and rules. Thus, we find that the discipline is important in every walk of life. Discipline forms our character. The success in our life wholly depends on our character. It is the backbone of anyone's character. We should contact those people who try to bring us under discipline. Discipline which can be learnt from our childhood is very important. Players are very disciplined, they must follow rules and regulation to win the game. In absence of discipline in the classroom teachers face problems with teaching.

Likewise, without discipline among citizen there is chaos and hooliganism in the society. At home children should be taught discipline right from an early age. Discipline is extremely important among soldier and policemen. In case of lack of discipline in any member of the soldier or police, they cannot save the nation from outer attacks, nor can they maintain peace and security in the country. Discipline equally plays a vital role in student's life.

Discipline is indispensable for life because only disciplined person's talent gets value. Discipline is the cornerstone for doing great things in life. Without discipline peace and happiness cannot exist in life. Hence, we should be disciplined in every field school, home , playground, public, life.
