Electricity is produced by using water power.Electricity was invented by Faraday , British scientist. It is used for lightening our houses.We get heat and power from it. We use electric power to cook food and drive machinery equipment in house and industries. Electricity has become essential in today's day and age.Everything from morning to night uses electricity to function. We as humans of 21st century can not imagine a day without electricity.

The cars and trolleys that once use to function with oil , now function due to electricity produced from hydro power, wind, batteries. The radio and television the most efficient means of communication work due to electricity. Nepal is second richest country, next to Brazil in water resources. Which means its the second richest country with potential to generate tons of hydro power.   We have many big rushing rivers. Hence, we can produce electricity much more than we need. If we produce electricity by tapping into our natural resources we can become one of the biggest suppliers in electricity. We can earn foreign currency and use the income to invest in development of Nepal. The whole world has benefited from electricity.Even the backbone of  our computer age is electricity.

If the supply of electricity stops for a short time, we are put to great difficulty an inconvenience. Electricity is our useful servant but it can be a dangerous enemy too if not used wisely. Hence, it is a power we must be careful with. An trisect shock can kill any of us. We ,must make sure the wires in our home are strong  and no bare metal can be seen. We should never tech an electric switch with wet hand.Bare wires can give us a deadly shock.
