National Unity for Nepal's Development

The spirit of unity in diversity has been proved a fundamental key for national unity in Nepal. because Nepal is a land of multilingual, multiracial, multicultural, and multi-religious societies, we can observe diversities in the society. yet the beauty of such diversity reflects when we see people belonging to distinct languages, races, cultures, and religions inhabiting the same country with unity and cooperation.

People belonging to different ethnic groups and language communities reside with love and respect together. The people of different castes and language groups don't show hatred toward each other. The people speaking one language seem to be willing to learn other languages. The people of various castes and religions own their unique culture yet they live in social harmony. Many festivals belonging to different cultures and religions are celebrated collaboratively. This ultimately fosters unity, fraternity, friendship, closeness, respect, and love among peoples.

Unit or national plays the prime role to develop the country. Unity lessens hostility, hatred, conflict mistrust, and wars. It consolidates our efforts in one. When the efforts are merged, unity becomes pivotal for the development of a country like Nepal. Nepal has, however, got social harmony but fails to unite politically. As a result the people and prosperity, the political diversities are to be resolved. Only then our societies can become just ideal societies.

For the country's development, the political parties are to be united. Power only lives in unity. For example, single water can't be enough to wash out the entire village. A thin thread is very weak. Our strength inside can build trust outside. Consequently, we can get foreign aid and investment which are the pre-requisite for development.

To sum up, we can see the countries fragmented in the lack of national unity. Yugoslavia is an example to site. By learning from the countries like Kapan and America, we should head for development through unity. Particularly in Nepal, political leaders should develop a culture of national unity. Inter and intraparty rift and conflict can never make the nation prosperous. United we stand divide we fail.
