Why is it important to apply the concept of sustainable development practically for the conservation of the environment?

Sustainable development is important for all living things and for all of the components of the environment because it adopts the principles which contribute to environmental conservation. Environment and nature are common properties for all living creatures. Some of the main importance of sustainable development are listed below:

In the process of sustainable development, overexploitation of resources is restricted and utilization of resources is done in such a way that they remain in the future for their regeneration and for the fulfillment of the needs of future generations too.
