The glands which consist of both endocrine and exocrine gland system are called mixed glands. For example: pancreas, male gonads, etc.

A mixed gland is a gland which has both endocrine and exocrine functions. The exocrine component has ducts, through which its secretions pass. The pancreas is a gland with both endocrine (insulin production) and exocrine (production of digestive enzymes) functions.

Pancreas is a mixed gland whose functions are  both endocrine and exocrine gland. Hence, called as dual function gland or a mixed gland. Exocrine part of pancreas secretes digestive enzymes while, its endocrine part (islets of Langerhans) produce two hormones, i.e. insulin and glucagon.
