Fossils are found only in the sedimentary rocks, why?

When organisms are buried under the earth in large cover of sediments for million of years, some of their body part or whole body parts are preserved. During this formation of fossils and sedimentary rocks go together at the same time and this type of rocks are not so hot due to which fossils are formed only in the sedimentary rocks.
