The difference between auricles and ventricles are given below :

  Auricles  Ventricles
1. Auricles are smaller Ventricles are larger in size
2. They are upper chambers  They are lower chambers
3. Veins are originated from auricles  Arteries are originated from ventricles
4. Auricles are thin walled chambers Ventricles are thick walled chambers.

The left auricle, also known as the left atrial appendage (LAA), is a flap of heart wall on the anterior surface of the left atrium of the heart. The name auricle comes from the Latin word auricula, which means “ear” and refers to the floppy dog-ear shape of the auricle. The auricle serves the purpose of increasing the blood holding capacity of the atrium and it forms the rough interior part of the atrium.

The ventricles are structures that produce cerebrospinal fluid, and transport it around the cranial cavity. They are lined by ependymal cells, which form a structure called the choroid plexus. In total, there are four ventricles; right and left lateral ventricles, third ventricle and fourth ventricle.
