In 1745 A.D. George Wofan, a French scientist put forward the theory of evolution of the earth for the first time. According to his theory, Millions of years ago a comet stroke the sun with large force and some gaseous matter scattered away from the sun which when cooled, started to move around the sun. In this way, the earth along with other planets and satellites were formed.
