Define tropopause and write the temperature at this layer.
1 Answer
The upper boundary of the troposphere is called a tropopause. The temperature at its boundary varies from -55 degree Celsius to -80 degree Celsius from equator to pole respectively.
The tropopause is important to us who fly below, in or above it because so many things happen there such as our aircraft performance changes and the temperature tends to go higher as we climb to tropopause.
