Unemployment is one of the most burning problems of Nepal. Many factors like attitude of people to work, employment availability, theoretical system, defective policies of nation, political instability result in unemployment or joblessness. As a result of which many youths end up leaving the country every year in Nepal.
The youth and young adults leaving the country for foreign prospects is not good for the country. As youth and young adults are the most productive population.This creates a void and imbalance in the countries population leading to many difficulties in development. The youth who leave the country in search of jobs are away from he country and many times do not return. In Nepal many youths without any education and prospects end up leaving Nepal to work as a laborer in India.
One of the main reasons for unemployment in Nepal is lack of education and lack of technical courses offered in the country.Even if educational institute and universities are less, a country can prosper through it's vacation and technical man power. The other main reason is Nepal and Nepalese were never introduced to the idea f becoming and creating jobs but were always taught to look for jobs.Even many educated professional leave the country instead of becoming the creator of jobs by opening companies.This is due to lack of government help in funding and policies for entrepreneurs an business owner.
The Nepalese education system is outdated and does not have any practical meaning.The world is moving toward future with internet and technology many traditional jobs are becoming obsolete. Many degree holders of Nepal do not get skilled work and end up working in unskilled work because the value of Nepali education system is poor.
To solve the unemployment woos of the nation and to lead Nepal towards a better future we must focus on our strengths and work on our weakness.We must establish ago based industries, provide and change policies for startup and give vocational and institutional training.
