Masai and Hausa are the aborigines of Central Africa or Tropical Grassland Region. Masai's live in Kenya and Tanzania, Hausa live in Uganda.
Their lifestyle ( livelihood)
Cattle rearing is their main occupation. They rear cattle for milk, meat and blood. However they do not get much profit from the low production from local and small cattle. A single person has a large number of cattle ranging from 100-500 or even more than that. They live a nomadic life. They have a primitive way of living due to lack of development of infrastructure, industry, trade employment etc. Due to development in tourism industry, international support, modern technology in cattle rearing and agriculture, some hope of change in their lifestyle is seen.
