Satyagraha was the movement launched bu the leaders and cadres of Nepal congress. They would gather in front of Singha Durbar and get involved in Relay Ansan. The movement was peaceful and discipline. It was a type of civil disobedience movement. The support and participation of general public was increasing in this movement.
Janabadi morcha led by Ram Raja Prasad Singh was blasted bombs in Kathmandu on 6th Ashadh 2042. Their demand was to establish republican system by ending the monarchy. The bombs were burst in different places of Kathmandu where six people were killed and dozens were injured. The life of Kathmandu became panic due to bomb blast. The government started to search the guilty by making strict security provision. It affected the Satyagraha of Nepali congress. Thinking that the government would arrest the leaders of Nepali congress blaming their involvement in the bomb incident, the leaders withdrew satyagraha.
