Roles of political parties in democracy
There is a great role of political parties in the institutional development of democracy. The members of parliament elected as people's representatives should work in direction of the party.Therefore the party should instruct their members in the parliament to work for the welfare of the nation and nationality.The party with majority has the authority to from the government.The representatives in the government should focus in the work like making development plans, launching the projects according to the wills of people, maintaining good governance, expanding the infrastructures, increasing the opportunities of education, improving foreign relationship, etc. Similarly, the opposition parties also should work according to people wills.They should appreciate the good works of the government while oppose the wrong decisions.The political parties should work in raising awareness through different programs to end social problems and promote public participation in development work.They even should be active in implementing the constitution and laws. Rather than launching frequent movement and protest, they should be united in the issues of nationality and development works.
