The goals set by the UN's Millennium Summit of September 200 AD n alleviating both economic poverty and human poverty in developing countries is called The General Development Goals.
The General Assembly of the UNO has set MDGs from 2000 AD to 2015 AD. those goals are presented below:
- To end the poverty and hunger problem of developing countries of the world.
- To implement the policy of compulsory and free education to all the people in the world.
- To increase woman empowerment by ending gender inequality.
- To reduce child mortality rate.
- To improve maternal health care.
- To control infectious diseases that affect the world community
- To pay attention in environmental security according to the principle of sustainable development.
- To promote universal partnership for development.
