Zica Virus
Zica virus is transmitted due to the bite of a female mosquito called Aedes. It was first seen in a monkey in the African country Uganda in 1947 A.D. Later on, it was found in Uganda and Tanzania in 1952 A.D. It is spread in many of the African and South American countries at present. Fever, excessive headache, eye infection, muscle and joint pain, measles-like bruises on the body, etc ate the symptoms of it.
Preventive measures of Zica virus:
- Keep the surrounding of the house and environment clean.
- Adopt the prevention of mosquito bites.
- Use only the tested blood during a transfusion.
- Avoid unsafe intercourse.
- Never use the razor, brush, comb, handkerchief, used by others.
- Avoid the use of drugs and syringes.
