1. Metals are hard and brittle. Nonmetals are soft in nature.
2. Metals generally conduct electricity. Nonmetals do not conduct electricity except some elements like chlorine
3. Metals can be turned into thin sheets. Nonmetals cannot be turned into thin sheets.
4.  Metals have shining property Nonmetals are not shining in nature.
5. Metals can be turned into thin wires Nonmetals cannot be turned into thin wires.
