Leon Battista Alberti Italian inventor and architect invented the Anemometer in 1450.
Anemometer is the device which is used to measure the direction or speed of wind. The unit of Anemometer is FPM. Anemometer looks like a weather vane. Weather vane is the device which is also used for showing the direction of wind but instead of measuring which direction the wind is blowing with pointers. It is specially for measure the low wind speed. It finds the speed of air with the help of rotation speed of the cupsharped structures on the top of the rotating part.
