Corruption is going against the norms of the post and abuse of power and authority. Nepal is among the countries which have high rate of corruption. It is taken as a social problem due to the following reasons:
- Corruption slows down the development activities.
- It discourages the spirit of skilled and honest citizen.
- Corruption effects the fair distribution of resources and opportunities negatively.
- Corruption doesn't let democracy function well.
